  14.    <code class="command">ALTER OPERATOR</code> changes the definition of

  15.    an operator.

  17.    You must own the operator to use <code class="command">ALTER OPERATOR</code>.

  18.    To alter the owner, you must also be a direct or indirect member of the new

  19.    owning role, and that role must have <code class="literal">CREATE</code> privilege on

  20.    the operator's schema.  (These restrictions enforce that altering the owner

  21.    doesn't do anything you couldn't do by dropping and recreating the operator.

  22.    However, a superuser can alter ownership of any operator anyway.)
